Home For The Holidays…

The latest trends for 2023.

Check out what has been showing up in stores across the country and right here in the Richmond Virginia Metro Area!

  1. It’s not what you’d expect! This Christmas mushrooms are stealing the spotlight in ways when it comes to decorations. Forget about the white toadstools; we're talking about vibrant colors, glitter and materials ranging from wood to felt. These whimsical fungi are sure to bring a touch of enchantment to your holiday setup.

  2. Everyone loves the creatures! Step into a forest, with decorations featuring woodland creatures. Deer, hedgehogs, owls, squirrels, and foxes will playfully adorn your branches creating a woodland scene. You might even catch a glimpse of some gnomes (gonks) spreading their charm.

  3. Embrace the timeless and cheerful classic look of red and white candy cane stripes for your Christmas decor. Whether you prefer a Grinchy touch or a Scandinavian style with brown accents this candy inspired theme will add sweetness to your holiday ambiance.

  4. Luxe and Glam; Infuse opulence into your season with decorations that exude elegance. Imagine sparkling crystals, feathered ornaments, chandeliers and even Chanel style handbags! These luxurious details will make your Christmas festivities sparkle and shine.

  5. Flocked trees continue to be in vogue as they create a snowy wonderland effect for your space—a backdrop, for showcasing your favorite ornaments while adding a touch of frosty magic indoors.

  6. Add a touch of magic to your holiday decor, with fluffy star decorations called "Fluffy Starstruck." These stars are soft to the touch available in all different sizes. It adds that extra layer of texture we all love.

  7. Embrace the nostalgia with eclectic vintage designs. Mix and match ornaments from across the decades, including mid-century glass baubles, retro fairy lights, and homemade creations. Your tree will tell a story filled with memories.

Personally I’ve been loving the flocked tree look for a few years but the mess scares me to death lol. Maybe this is the year I just make it happen!

So which of these 2023 holiday trends do you lean towards or are you more of a red and green traditionalist?

However you decide to decorate I am wishing you a home filled with so much laughter this season.

Merry Christmas & Happy “Holly”-Days!!!
