Thanksgiving dinner doesn’t have to start with you spending two days in the kitchen. Maybe you love making a few family favorites but would happily let someone else handle the turkey. Maybe you’re new to Richmond, your family is coming to you this year, or you’d just like to sit down and enjoy the day.
I put this guide together so you can see your options in one place. Go out, bring dinner home, or order the sides and make the one dish everyone expects you to bring. There’s plenty to organize around the holidays. Dinner can be one thing you make a little easier.

Is pickup dinner hot or ready to reheat?
These are different things. Ruth’s Chris supplies its meal cold, and Upper Shirley’s feast needs finishing at home. Ask about oven temperature, heating time and fridge space before you order.
What does the price actually include?
Check the serving size, sides, dessert, tax and fees. For dining out, confirm child pricing and any automatic gratuity. For pickup, confirm whether you need extra sides for your group.
What if someone has an allergy or dietary restriction?
Speak with the restaurant before booking or ordering. Upper Shirley’s published FAQ says modifications are not accepted.
Can I submit another restaurant or a correction?
